Biography of Al Foxx
Al Foxx is a professional humorist, inspirational/motivational Christian speaker, and author. After experiencing a brain injury from a motorcycle crash over 25 years ago, which has caused him to be partially paralyzed and have a slight speech impediment , Al's learned many things the hard way. Through these experiences Al has gained insights and learned principles regarding living with a disability that he shares with Christian audiences nationwide.
Doctors told him he'd never walk, talk understandably, or drive. Al met these challenges head on with the encouragment of his Christian parents and his reliance on Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. Today Al drives to his Christian speaking engagements, limps unto the stage, and gets paid to share his humorous insights with people who begin to see their own situations in a new light. Suddenly they see hope in their own possibilities as they learn to trust God in their own 'motorcycle crash'.
Every person has their own 'motorcyle crash' (divorce, death, addictions, loss of jop, etc.) and Al enjoys sharing biblical principles to help indviduals work through their own motorcycle crashes.

Can be adapted for any age group
With deep conviction and faith, Al Foxx shares his testimony of how Jesus is his strength and hope, even when the world seems to have the upper hand. The first several years following his paralyzing motorcycle crash almost broke Al’s spirit, but because his family and friends never quit praying for him, and because God loves to answer prayers and bind up the broken hearted, He showed Al how to see opportunities where he had seen only obstacles.

Al delivered a very powerful and inspirational presentation intertwining his miraculous recovery with his strong faith and trust in God. Our group was moved by Al's aspiration and determination to regain as much of his abilities as he possibily could, believing that God was there to support him. His sprinkle of humor nicely lightened an otherwise serious subject.
We highly recommend him for any Christian group. He is a walking testimony for God's faithful gifts, if one believes in Him.

Your "Winners Don't Quit philosophy and the humorous way you delivered your message leaves little excuse for anyone to have a permanent pity party. Your victories are living proof that no matter what, with faith and goals, a person can "overcome".

To whom it may concern:
Al Foxx has an extraordinary story to tell as we learned at a recent Men’s Dinner. After a month in a coma, he awoke with the left side of his traumatized body paralyzed from the neck down. Doctors told him he would never walk again or talk normally; God had a different plan. Al’s testimony is one of God given courage and stamina as he undertook a grueling recovery process. God’s greatest gift to Al is hope and he shares that gift with his audience.
Al tells his story blending humor with Biblical wisdom and a strong dose of practical thinking as he gives insight to life and living. You’ll be riveted to your chair with the intensity of his motor vehicle accident and recovery; suddenly you’ll find yourself rolling in the aisle with laughter. His unique perspective will disarm you; his story-telling ability will catch you off guard...repeatedly.
Through his wit, warmth, insight, and realism he brings hope to his audiences. Al’s life journey encourages and challenges those who need a vision of what is possible. I highly recommend Al Foxx to you and your organization.
Sincerely,
Ken Huckey, Northshore Baptist, Pastor-Men’s Ministries
